This story actually made me really sad BUT it has a happy ending.
On Halloween, a very snuggly Pit Bull put on a costume and was excited to greet the many kids that would come by.
Sadly, the kids were too afraid to pet the puppy. I get why they may not, because we teach kids not to run up to dogs and pet them because we don’t know if the dog is friendly with kids or not. Pit Bulls have a bad reputation and speaking freely here…it is NOT the breed of the dog that makes them “vicious” it is the owner. The fluffiest, cutest pup could be aggressive based on their upbringing.
This puppy just wanted a little love and apparently started to cry because no one would go near him
Again, I can see why parents wouldn’t want their kids petting a random dog (I just hope it wasn’t because he is a Pit Bull)
The night took a turn though. They encouraged kids to give the pup a pet and some kids even went for a hug and got kisses.
So, this puppy ended up with big smiles and all tuckered out
Although before the update was given…so many people got involved via twitter sharing their sadness with Dublin (the dog.)

All is well in the world again. Just remember it is NOT the breed that is vicious…it is the owners. Some people should NOT be able to own a dog. Pit Bulls can be very gentle and loving.
