After 50 years, Deep Purple may slowly enter retirement after their “Long Goodbye Tour” wraps, which could actually BE a long time from now however with the recent health scare drummer Ian Paice experienced last summer it might be time to fade into the sunset. They’ve announced a few U.K. dates first, which won’t happen until the latter part of 2017 and then carry on through 2018 with dates across the big pond including here in Toronto.
There is another Deep Purple album coming too called “Infinite” which will come out next year as well.
Worth noting. It was the first time in 50 years that original drummer Ian Paice, after experiencing a mild stroke, had to cancel Deep Purple dates.
