Days after the Prime Minister made some changes to his cabinet, the Premier is set to do the same, on a much smaller scale.
It’s expected Kathleen Wynne will name a new Corrections Minister on Thursday, and possibly make some other changes.
There is a swearing-in ceremony planned for executive members, which suggests more than one position will be reassigned.
Back in December, citing family reasons, David Orazietti resigned as the Minister of Community Safety and Correctional Services; he also left his position as MPP for Sault Ste. Marie.
The Minister of Labour, Kevin Flynn, has been handling the file since, but a permanent replacement is expected to be named.
A byelection has yet to be called for the unrepresented riding, but it must happen within the next few months.
