WATCH: Toronto and parts of Southern Ontario expected to receive snow and freezing rain Tuesday.
Toronto and the GTA is likely to receive some snow and freezing rain beginning in the overnight Monday, according to Environment Canada.
The special weather statement issued by the weather agency says it’s possible we could see overnight snow change to morning freezing rain before changing again to just rain by Tuesday afternoon.
Expect winter-like conditions with heavy snow in some parts of Southern Ontario. Environment Canada also says that driving conditions are expected to get tough during the next few days.
Meteorologist Dajenelle Mathews says heavy snow accumulation is not in the forecast for Toronto, but heavy snow and freezing is rain possible for most of Northern Ontario.
