It appears the Premier isn’t impressing too many Ontarians these days.
According to the latest Mainstreet Research poll for The Toronto Sun, only about 18% feel she’s doing a good job at the helm.
That’s four percent higher than the last poll found.
The survey asked: Do you approve or disapprove of the way Kathleen Wynne is handling her job as Premier of Ontario?
A full 30% said they strongly disapprove of her performance.
The same poll asked about what the Province has done about hydro bills, which has been a huge concern for many.
About 55% said the Liberals have done nothing over the last year to trim electricity prices, which may help explain why the party is struggling.
That comes despite the Wynne government dropping the 8% provincial portion of HST from bills, as of the first of last month.
The poll also asked: If a provincial election were held today, which party would you support?
The Tories led the way with 39% decided voter support, Liberals followed with 29%, and the NDP was third at 27%.
