You may never have been bullied in your life, but you know one.
Maybe the bully is at school, work, or online?
Maybe you have seen bullying and have thought… What can I do, how can I help?
Pink Shirt Day is a national bullying prevention movement that culminates this year on February 22, 2017.
Pink Shirt Day is a time for Canadians of all ages to show solidarity in the pursuit of a bully-free community and create a dialogue about how we can all play a part in identifying and standing up against bullying behaviour.
All Canadians have a role to play in creating safe and supportive communities, both online and on the playground. This year, we encourage you to help spread kindness by posting a positive message on social media using #PinkShirtPromise and Shaw will donate $1 to support bullying prevention programs across Canada.
Here is how YOU can get involved:
- Post a positive message on social media using #PinkShirtPromise and Shaw will donate $1 to bullying prevention programs across Canada
- Use the custom #PinkShirtPromise Snapchat geo-filter on Pink Shirt Day (Feb. 22)
- Take a photo or video of yourself bringing your #PinkShirtPromise to life
- Encourage your social networks to post a promise using #PinkShirtPromise
