Actor and director Bill Paxton has sadly passed away.
According to TMZ and People Magazine, the american actor died due to complications stemming from heart surgery.
A native of Texas, Paxton made his big-screen debut in the 1981 comedy movie Stripes alongside Bill Murray.
He would later find further success with roles in movies such as The Terminator, Aliens and Predator.
Paxton most recently appeared in the Marvel Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D series as well as a T.V reboot of the Denzel Washington flick Training Day.
He leaves behind a wife and two children.
He was 61 years old.
