It’s St. Patrick’s Day… and Ryan O’Ryan is back!
Our Ryan had to leave early this morning for a top secret business matter. Lucky for us, our Irish pal Ryan O’Ryan was able to fill in! He hit the streets of Toronto to talk all things Irish. Fun fact: Ryan O’Ryan actually came up with the name “U2” for Bono and the guys! He tells the story to Derringer, Jenn and Flairboy. We’re already looking forward to his return next year!
Derringer’s Tool of the Day: 43 Cases of Mumps in Toronto?!
There are now 43 confirmed cases of the mumps in Toronto. Many bars in the city are actually going to be telling patrons not to be kissing anyone or sharing drinks, in order to stop the mumps from spreading. Needless to say, don’t be going around kissing anyone for St. Patrick’s Day today… because you never know who could be a mumps-carrying Tool of the Day!
Guinness Picture Fail
A Vancouver restaurant posted a picture of a “poorly-poured” Guinness, and people are not happy! The received a ton of backlash over social media, and some Irish news outlets picked up the story calling it “sacrilegious”. The restaurant have since re-posted the picture, with the Guinness poured properly.
