Did you miss out on Derringer in the Morning? Here’s the best of the best of what was talked about today!
What a game on Saturday Night! Derringer, Jenn and Ryan are riding high after that Leafs double OT win and nothing is going to bring them down… nothing except the mess that is the removal of the York/Bay Gardiner Expressway exit, which is already causing major traffic delays on a quiet Easter Monday in the city. Another bummer we found out about today is that we lost the world’s oldest person, Emma Morano at the age of 117. This sparked an interesting debate over whether living to the age of 117 would be enjoyable or not?

Derringer’s Tool of the Day: Scorpion Falls on Man’s Head… On United Airlines Flight
United Airlines is in hot water AGAIN after a scorpion fell onto a passenger’s head mid-flight! Calgary residents Richard and Linda Bell were on their way home from Mexico when Richard felt something fall onto his head. He reached up to grab it, not realizing it was a scorpion, and got stung on his thumb. The United Airlines crew flushed the scorpion down the toilet, gave Richard some Benadryl and luckily he was okay. We just hope they flushed that thing properly!
Car on Fire
The Gardiner is officially a mess as of this morning. The city started construction on the eastbound off-ramp to Yonge, Bay and York Streets, which will remain closed until January 2018. The guys suggested that you may as well park your car, set it on fire and walk if you’re headed into the downtown core. This reminded Jenn of the time she found her car on fire in a parking lot! Thank goodness she wasn’t in it when it happened!
