According to the YouTube video this fight broke out when a disturbed customer was 10 cents short when paying for his coffee. It was at the Jane St. and Alliance Ave. location.
Who would still be filming when he came back a second time? I would have been out of there. And who brought in the outside avocado?
You see something like that call 911 or if buddy was only short a dime someone in line could have given it to him and this probably would not have happened
It looks like they were performing. Wanting to get on youtube, have their fifteen minutes of fame.
One more thing, where are the police? Why didnt anyone offer to help the fellow with ten cents? Was that a manager who was arguing with the customer? If so, I think she handled the situation rather poorly.
That location has A LOT of BAD customers. It’s not in the best neighborhood either. I can understand why she did what she did over as little as 10 cents. In that store, if she let him off the 10 cents next time it would be 25 and his friends would want it too etc. Not to mention the owners….. if they are the same owners as 10 years ago, they wouldn’t let it fly. I worked at that location personally about 10 years ago and in that time I had FRESH HOT coffee thrown at me because the person didn’t believe it was just made. I had change thrown at me and I won’t even begin to say the things I was called. In that store, it doesn’t really surprise me.
why didnt staff or any customers(esp male customers)intervene?? i could barely understand a word he spoke but this had to be about more than being short a dime for a coffee….somethings missing in this story…and while someone recorded entire incident of 2 1/2 mins with all those people there, why werent police called? surely in that neighbourhood of Jane and Alliance, a cop wouldve arrived in less than the 3 minutes it took to video….
