What is Canada’s greatest sporting moment? Listen for Q107’s Question of the Day weekday mornings at 6:20!
International Body Piercing Day
June 28th is International Body Piercing Day, so Johnny Garbutt shared a (painful) memory from the early 90s – he decided to get his nipples pierced like one of his idols. It didn’t end well!
Derringer’s Tool of the Day: Throwing coins into the engine of the plane makes you a Tool… no matter how old you are!
An 80-year-old woman delayed a flight from Shanghai to Guangzhou by throwing coins into the engine of the airplane! She threw 9 coins in total for ‘good luck’. This wasn’t so lucky, though, as it prompted a full examination of the engine, which led to the evacuation of 150 passengers. The flight was delayed for five hours. Doesn’t matter how old you are – throwing coins into the engine of an aircraft makes you the Tool of the Day!
Multiculturalism in Canada
Today is Multiculturalism Day, so Ryan shares some interesting facts about the multiculturalism here in Canada. One of the reasons why our country is so great!
