Still going strong after 123 years! Arguably the most legendary venue in Toronto, Massey Hall is set to close for 2 years to undergo more renovations. The iconic venue will see both interior & exterior work over the next 2 years. Ontario is investing $4 million in phase two of the revitalization. It’s all part of a 7-year multi-phase project.
Built in 1894, Massey Hall was designated a heritage property under the Ontario Heritage Act by the City of Toronto in 1975. The venue became a National Historic Site of Canada in 1981.
