And really questions for driverless vehicles in general. I’m just talking about Uber because they’re going to be testing two self driving cars by the end of the year in Toronto and are currently driving around, with someone behind the wheel, mapping the city.
There are certain human instincts that you just can’t teach a robot. For instance are they aware that in downtown Toronto if you put your signal on 99% of the time nobody is going to let you in? They’ll speed up to close the gap. Will they obey the speed limit? Or will they follow the flow of traffic?
I imagine there will be a day we will look back and tell our great grandkids…when I was a kid we used to have to DRIVE the car ourselves!
