Did you miss out on Derringer in the Morning? Here’s the best of the best of what was talked about today!
A lot of people in Toronto where shocked yesterday to learn that the Air Canada Centre, home of our beloved Maple Leafs will be known as Scotiabank Arena next season — Derringer, Jenn and Ryan try to come up with a catchy short form name for Scotiabank Arena like how Air Canada Centre had the ACC. Thank the heavens that there are people on the ‘interwebs’ who take the time to upload ‘How To’ YouTube videos — we share stories of the YouTube videos we get lost in. There’s a couple in the States who made it a mission to eat at every single Cracker Barrel across the country and Jenn is planning her own Cracker Barrel mission now. And Derringer reflects on Princess Diana’s tragic death upon its 20th anniversary.

Q107’s Question of the Day
What have you learned from watching YouTube?
Heroics in Houston
It’s hard to even imagine what the people of Houston are going through right now, but it’s incredible to see how people are coming together to help those affected.
Derringer’s Tool of the Day: The 7 Year Itch
They say most couples hit a wall at 7 years, but where do kids fall into that? John, Ryan and Jenn all agree that the hardest time in a marriage or relationship is when you have small children – Ryan is just coming out of that phase. It’s not always easy, but if you can make it past those 7 years without calling each other Tools of the Day, you can likely get through anything!
An Indiana couple has completed their 40-year mission to visit every Cracker Barrel restaurant in America. That’s 655 restaurants in total! John and Ryan recall the time that they visited a Cracker Barrel with Garbutt and Blair the Bossman. They couldn’t get up out of their seats after they finished because they were served so much food! Maybe the Cracker Barrel couple should make their next stop a visit to the Cardiologist… get those arteries checked!
