The Ontario Gov’t announce today that by 2020 150 Gov’t-run retailers will be selling legal marijuana! Cannabis users will only be able to smoke the substance in private residences — not on streets or in bars.
It will also be sold behind a counter “and cannot be sold alongside alcohol” according to Ontario Attorney General Yasir Naqvi. When questioned if the substance will eventually be allowed in bars & restaurants, he said it’s a possibility at a later time. Current marijuana dispensaries that have sprung up around the province will be shut down. There’s still no details on pricing, taxing etc from the Gov’t.
10 countries where marijuana is legalized…to varying degrees – Canada, Colombia, Czech Republic, Uruguay, Spain, U.S, Portugal, Netherlands, Switzerland, Romania.
