Aerosmith - Should they or shouldn't they?

It seems that things in Camp Aerosmith aren't so good these days.
 
Singer Steven Tyler recently admitted to Classic Rock magazine that he'd be spending all of 2010 focusing on solo projects.
 
"I don’t know what I’m doing yet, but it’s definitely going to be something Steven Tyler: working on the brand of myself – Brand Tyler," said the 61-year-old singer.
 
In addition, the magazine claimed there was off-stage friction between Tyler and the rest of Aerosmith at their recent show at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The vocalist's dressing room was allegedly located at a great distance from the rest of the band and that no one saw him until the band had to hit the stage.
 
Funny thing is, it's not surprising.
 
Back in August when Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry visited The Kim Mitchell Show on Q107 following Tyler's injury, Perry let it slip that much ...

There's a cost to having friends that becomes apparent the more comfortable you get with each other.  Hanging out and doing stuff can, in times of need, give way to the asking of favours.

Thinking about it, isn't it amazing what your friends can talk you into?
