Looks like America's version of The Beatles could "Get Around" one more time.
Al Jardine recently told Rolling Stone magazine that he, along with the other original members of the Beach Boys (Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Brian Johnston and even early guitarist David Marks) may reunite in 2011 for a one-off concert to celebrate the band's 50th anniversary.
"It’s a big deal," said Jardine. "I don’t know where it will be yet, but it’ll probably be free. Golden Gate Park was mentioned, as was the [National] Mall in Washington, D.C. and the north shore of Chicago by the beach."
Meanwhile, Brian Wilson's manager Jean Sievers told the magazine that she doesn't know anything about such a reunion and that Wilson is concentrating all his efforts into the release of the album Brian Wilson Reimagines Gershwin next month.
If the reunion happens, chances are they won't be as energetic as this:...
