First Snow of the Year....
Posted 11/5/2009 2:00:00 PM
This afternoon here in the northern reaches of the GTA. Lasted about 10 minutes.

First snow last year was Nov 15.

I'm good with staying green until Christmas.

I HATE snow. It can snow 2 or 3 inches Christmas eve, the slow big chunky stuff, then boxing day it needs to go away until next Christmas!

I don't mind the snow unless someone could give me eternal spring!

My kids love the first snow... Then they have to help shovel and things change! They love the skiing and tobboganing though. John... your kids are just the age where you can't help but love the rosy cheeks and the snow covered faces after a day of tobboganing.

First substantial snowfall of the year, I usually just stay home & off the roads. It's amazing how many clowns can't drive in the snow? Dry pavement for that fact! No wonder insurance rates are sky-high!

Get the shovels out and park them near your doors so you can get out of your house and get to work so i can hear you in the morning...

I'm close to the lake so we get the lake effect -- the snow can stay away forever!!! Egads...we didn't have Summer yet this year...maybe we'll get the warmth in Dec. & Jan???
