I Want Candy!

What is up?
Hope all is well! I have a little "Tuck" shop in my building that sells cereal, milk, bread, and other little daily essentials... but they have a great little candy section that makes you feel like your sitting in Willy Wonka's living room. So Kirsten asks if I could go down and grab some ginger ale and I pick it up, grab a red bull for the morning, and something caught my eye... I LOVE licorice! It's awesome, cherry not black licorice. So I grabbed a "NIB" licorice stick, the one with no hole in it just a solid stick of cherry goodness. It was great, it tasted as it was made 20 minutes ago, a fresh licorice stick is a real treat. I am now sitting in my condo waiting to eat dinner, and I can't stop thinking of an excuse to get me outta here to go grab another licorice.... or 10!
What is your favorite type of candy?

I like the winegums, but there are only a few good quality ones out there, like Maynards. Also like 'Mackintosh toffee, Hard to find though.

Hi John, I love the Licorice also. Have you ever had the chance to taste chocolate covered licorice? I have its great! I found it at a little chocolate shop just out side of Fort Erie. It's called Nigh's Chocolate.

Frozen! I love frozen chocolate bars (top of the list are peanut butter cups, coffee crisp and peppermint patties--which I buy at Costco, I keep the gigantic container of patties in the freezer so they are always ready in case of an emergency!) and frozen sour keys, sour patch kids & sour raspberries etc. I'm not sure why but freezing this stuff makes it all taste a lot better, if you've never done it you should give it a try!

I am a sugarholic....licorice black and red, jelly beans, jujubes to name a few....I can't decide what my favourite is....it's all good!!!

I am the confectionary QUEEN!!! I know more about candy than most... I think... anyways, sweet treats are my life!!! I enjoy licorice as well, especially the pack of Twizzlers!!
