do-not-call, unless we want to

Get this, the national do-not-call list is a sham!. What a surprise…I don’t know about you but being on the no-call-list hasn’t stopped my phone from ringing. The worst part, figures suggest there is little enforcement despite more than 300,000 complaints against unwanted telemarketers. The government said it has imposed $73,000 in fines but have collected about as much money as I did in empties this past weekend.
What a joke!
In fact yesterday I got a call, I told the guy that it’s illegal for them to call me and that I’m on the no-call list. He chuckled at me, then said ‘there must be a glitch in the system with my name’.
If you want to rant about this topic go nuts…I’d love to hear what you have to say.
