The 'Rushified' Grass is Always Greener

On Tuesday I definitely wished I wasn't UK-based but instead lived in terrific Toronto. The weather was lousy: it had been raining all day and it was miserably cold for the middle of July, even for the UK!
To make things worse, I'd been listening online to The Mighty Q! Don't get me wrong that is always a delight. But, I had to endure a very chirpy Jo giving Rush tickets away all morning, joyfully telling all the winners how great the weather was going to be for the Molson Canadian Amphitheatre show. Jealous? Bloody well right I was!
I love Rush. They are the first band I ever saw live back in 1977 at Newcastle City Hall on The Farewell to Kings tour. They performed 2112 almost in its entirety and from the instant they hit the stage with Bastille Day I was hooked.
