With it being take your kids to work day and many workplaces hosting grade nine students I thought this might be a good topic...If you could go back to you in Grade 9 and give yourself a piece of advice what would it be?

So many things to chose from, my biggest regret was that I did notgo to University and live on campus.
Was anxious to start working early and make money, there is lots of time to work later.
Plan B would have been to move to Seattle and marry a man named Bill Gates.

All the new stuff we didn't have -- but...my own advice I'd definately follow -- don't worry about the boys!!! They come & go & school is definately more important. I always did well @ school - but I could have done better & go further. I never did -- opportunities were not available to me. I love my life as it is now, but...I could have done a bit better to build myself up.

RE Comments on Grade 3 Money-Management classes
I find it ironic that the provincial government with the largest deficit in the history of Canada AND a 2009 deficit that is larger than all the combined deficits of the other provinces and territories wants to institute a class for children to learn to manage their money.

I have to agree with the people I heard on the Q so far. If I could go back, I would also say stay in school and go to the co-op in grade 12 that my grade eleven teacher wanted to send me on and I never went back to school to finish.

If I could go back to grade 9, and knowing what I know now, I would stay true to myself and not try to be what others thought I should be. I wouldn’t take myself so seriously sometimes and just enjoy the moment. I would spend more time learning – about the world, my family history, my friends and life in general.

My advice would be to no spend so much time worrying about what other people think about what you wear, what you do or think, who you hang out with or what you like or dislike. Be your own person and as long as you're happy with yourself, that's all that really matters.

1. Invest in Redhat Linux
2. Force Dad to stop drinking so that he wouldn't die of an enlarged heart due to alcohol

Learn to get a long with every one... you don't have to be friends with every one but you do have to work with every one... so be nice. You never know who you will be working for in your future!

My dream was to be a veterinarian. I never did it because I spent too much time having fun and worrying about boys. My advice: Study hard, go to the best university that you can, dont pay attention to boys or what your peers think of you, and start saving your money at a young age. Open an RRSP and a savings account and save at least 25% of what you make every week. And DONT get a credit card until you know you can pay off the balance every month. Most importantly, follow your dream and make sure you do all you can to get there.

wheere to start
1. make the girls come to you.don't obsess over having a girlfriend, have girlfriends
2. be physically active be a jock
it's a total aphrodisiac for the girls
3 skip more classes a d don't worry about being a grade a student
a c grade is good enough and in the end everyone will evenually graduate and get a job

do not give on french! so much opportunities open up when a person is bilingual in our beautiful country! and secondly, do not be afraid to make mistakes. in fact make a lot of mistakes now so you make less mistakes when you get older. hopefully. ;)
