7/23/2010 The Bellwood Foundation The Bellwood Foundation is a charitable organization engaged in a variety of addiction prevention activities. Through its radio ad campaigns, the Foundation promotes awareness of addiction as one of the biggest social issues facing us today. It promotes awareness of problems related to abuse of alcohol, drugs, food, tobacco and gambling and encourages strategies to promote healthy options for living. The Foundation offers its “Making Choices Conference” to grade 7 & 8 students to promote the awareness of addiction issues and highlight the importance of making healthy choices in life.
