Classic Rock Indie Invasion Session 34 - Michael Rault stopped by the studio and it was beautiful. Just him and his acoustic guitar. Rault has been in the biz for many years and grew up in a musical family. His Dad is actually now a radio DJ at CKUA in Alberta. Raise $$$ for breast cancer this Mother's Day

Classic Rock Indie Invasion Session 33 - The guys from the Juno nominated band Saint Alvia Cartel stopped by to perform their new single Mother's Day. The song was written when lead singer Ben's mom was misdiagnosed with cancer. Proceeds from the single will be going to the Keep-A-Breast Foundation. The song is an emotional one for the boys and that is evident during the interview. This Mother's Day download the single and support cancer research. While they were here I got them to perform a classic rock cover. Hope you like Saint Alvia's cover of Midnight Special. We had a lot of fun recording it.

U2 will love this version of "I Will Follow"

Classic Rock indie Invasion Session 32 - I finally got Secret Broadcast into the studio. I met these fine men about 5 years ago in Calgary. They moved to Toronto a couple years ago and have since been signed to a label. They are releasing a new album on May 22nd with a CD release on June 9th at The Rivoli. The reason it took them so long to come in is because they couldn't pick a classic rock song. They eventually decided to go with I Will Follow by U2 and they rocked it. They had so much fun doing the cover for the Classic Rock Indie Invasion that they are planning to work it into their regular live sets! Sweet and your welcome.
