Janis Joplin is alive and well, living in Montreal!

Okay...not really but when you hear Leela's vocals you will think you have died and gone to Rock & Roll Heaven. This Montreal band blew me away! The Damn Truth have so much energy and talent and they are just awesome people to have a beer with. Their live show is incredible too...you can't take your eyes off the stage. This is one Classic Rock disCOVERy Series Session you will want to listen to over and over again. Enjoy!

The Treasures treasure The Band

Toronto based roots rock band The Treasures performed "Get Up Jake" for the Classic Rock disCOVERy Series. Be on the lookout for this band as they are moving onto even bigger things. Beautiful four part harmonies, stand up bass, pedal steel a singing drummer. Not to mention the hauntingly beautiful original tune My Window performed acoustic for the very first time in the Q107 studio. Enjoy!

The Times They Are A-Changin for one Toronto musician

Stan Simon covered Bob Dylan for the Classic Rock disCOVERy Series Session. He played a couple tunes but we ran out of time in the studio for a chat so instead we went on an instagram tour of Corus Quay. Enjoy!
