John Scholes

Saturday Night Live @ Healey's

Son of a Parisian, transgender fashion designer who's biggest claim to fame was the navy blue, knee-high sock. Emigrated to Canada in 1971...worked on a Maritime fishing troller mending nets and trimming the cuticles of sailors on board...

Joined the Queen's Own Rifles Regiment in '73...1st tour of duty in Vietnam, cut short by chronic case of the hiccups (inadvertently gave away the position of an entire platoon under "secret ops")...following a dishonourable discharge moved to Casper, Wyoming and attempted to open a school teaching sign language to the blind.

In 1977, moved to Flint, Michigian and worked for General Motors Research Division manually inflating & deflating automobile airbags.

In 1979, joined the Ronald Reagan Election Campaign (fired after one week for making jokes at the expense of soon-to-be 1st Lady Nancy Reagan ie. "What does Nancy Reagan and a 1932 typewriter have in common? No colon, no period and no memory!"

Later that year, worked for the NRA (National Rifle Association) instructing hunting enthusiasts in the safe handling of firearms in the bush (NOTE: employment came to an abrupt halt after being shot wearing joke hat with rubber antlers).

In 1984 began working for Hewlett Packard assembling over-head projectors (won the company award for Most Realistic Shadow Puppet). Returned to Canada and began working as a "grill man" in local Toronto diner...received 3rd degree burns over entire head, neck and face after "bobbing for onion rings" in a deep fryer (led to walk-on roll as "Gollum" in the "Lord of The Rings" trilogy).

In 1998, was hired on at local rock station Q107 filling in on air where/when required (NOTE: Station license has been in jeopardy ever since).
