I grew up in the tiny town of Geraldton, Ont., about 3 hours north east of Thunder Bay. It’s northern Ontario: lots of rock, none of it on the radio.
I know... I'm a long way from home!
When I was 18, I moved to England, and worked as a nanny. In the UK, there’s such a variety of great radio and music. I took one listen, and knew that was the route I wanted to take. So, back to Canada, and Mohawk College in Hamilton for the Radio Broadcasting and Communications Media Program. Then the radio journey began: Timmins, Sudbury, Kingston, and now Toronto and The Mighty Q!
I'm an avid Doors fan, I love the Beatles, The Guess Who, Ramones, Queen, and of course Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd! I love spending Saturday afternoons from noon-6p with you, and getting you through the weekend overnights!
