How To Create Your iMix

An iMix is a playlist that you create and make available to others in the iTunes store.
To create an iMix, you must first download iTunes - it’s free and super easy to use.

Once you have iTunes, create your iTunes account.

Now that you are set up with iTunes you can start creating your iMix.

In iTunes, click on ‘File’ in the top right hand corner and select ‘New Playlist’. A new untitled playlist will appear on the left hand side of iTunes.

Be sure to label your playlist – Q107 Psychedelic Psnack.

Now that you have created your playlist you can start to browse through the iTunes store to select your songs. You do not need to purchase the songs to create a playlist!!!

When you find a song that you would like to include in your iMix, just drag and drop the song over to the playlist you have created.

Your mix should include five to eight songs that you would like to hear during the Psychedelic Psnack. Please ensure that your song choices are Q107 friendly (no Celine please!). All songs must be from the Psychedelic Era, 1965 – 1975. Only songs available in iTunes can be included in your iMix.

Once your masterpiece is finished, just click on the arrow next to the playlist name or select ‘Create an iMix’ from the ‘File’ menu.

Enter a title and description for your iMix and click Publish. Remember that the title for your iMix must be “Q107 Psychedelic Psnack”.

Your iMix is complete! In approximately two hours, you will receive an email from iTunes notifying you that your iMix has been published.

Just forward that email to us at itunes@q107.com so that we know who you are what’s included in your iMix!
