Kind of morbid I know but if you're a huge music fan this might be something you're interested in.

Dave Wilson our Q friend in the UK sent this along.

A UK company is offering people the chance to have their ashes pressed into their favourite records.
And Vinyly say they can press your ashes onto a record that runs for 24 minutes. It can have your favourite songs on it.
Which song(s) would you like to have your ashes pressed into?

I don't remember my parents ever doing fundraising for me. In fact I remember going door to door to raise money. I remember carrying my crinkled pledge sheet, and pen, door to door, batting my cute 8 year old eyelashes and putting on my sweetest "pleeeease" smile.

Those days are over. In fact parents are advised not to let their kids do that anymore. I would go with them but it is easier to bring the box to work around lunch time when all my co-workers are good and hungry,

So want to buy a chocolate bar?

Board Games NOT Bored Games

Before the internet and before XBox, Wii hey even before Atari and Intelevision you most likely played a ton of board games.

There were so many to play. Remember the "buzz" of Operation that would make you jump? It was so much fun trying to figure out if it was Mrs Peacock in the Conservatory or was it Professor Plum? Passing Go and collecting your $200 and relieved that you avoided the hotels stacked on Park Place and Boardwalk. Ahh good times.

I was reading today about Snakes and Lattes on Bloor St W. a cafe with a wall of board games and no internet. How awesome.

Coincidence that today there is also news of two new Rolling Stones themed board games coming out.. There's Rolling Stones Monopoly and Rolling Stones Trivial Pursuit.

The Monopoly game use Stones' albums as properties, gold and platinum records instead of houses and hotels.

Things seems to be looking up for some financially however staying at home or close to home during summer vacation was common for Canadians again this year.

According to a recent survey 43% of Canadians surveyed spent money close to home on things like concerts, sporting events or movies.
Only 17 % spent money on a out of town trip.

So what have you done this summer?
